Links To Love – Sit Down and Read!

in Link Round Up

It’s the weekend!  Oh how I love the weekend.  My big and exciting plans are to watch some volleyball and soccer, and tackle the garage.  Not sure that my kids know about the excitement I have planned for them for the garage, but oh well.

So, while you have a few spare moments, kick back and read some of these great posts from others this past week.

Budgeting in the Fun Stuff writes about the fun of blogging.  I don’t know if people love my blog or not, but I have really come to love writing it.  Getting over the hurdles in the beginning caused some frustration, but it has become great fun for me.  Make sure you also check out her two new blogs Crystal Clear Thoughts and It’s A Dog’s Life For Me.

Financial Samurai writes about a woman that wants to upgrade her engagement ring BEFORE THE WEDDING.  I will probably write a post about this sometime in the future, but this woman outrages me.  (Not to mention her current ring is 1.2 carats.)

Grumpy Rumblings of the Untenured shares an observation about a growling baby at the airport.  I don’t know why, but I love the thought of a growling baby roaming around.

Invest It Wisely writes about a way to determine how much of your monthly income it takes to cover your expenses.  The point is to warn people when they are getting too close to living paycheck to paycheck.  I found I would like to improve my overall ‘number’, that is for sure.  (Guess I better go get a real job then, eh?)

KNS Financial (Faithful With a Few) has a great post detailing overall budgeting and spending prioritization.  I wish everyone in this country would read this post.

Little House in the Valley writes about how sometimes what we say and what we do are two different things, especially when life gets busy.  Oh how very true this is!

Money Reasons confesses his spending sins, and so does everyone else (but you have to read the comments).   Enjoy!

Squirreler’s writes such a nice post about seeing generosity in the most unlikely places.

Watson Inc discusses inheritance issues.  Does inheriting a lump of money help or hurt?   (My kids may never find out, and not because we are becoming immortal…)

Wealth Artisan writes about the ‘Perpetual Mindset’ and how debt can become just an accepted part of life for some.   But it definitely doesn’t have to be!

Wealth Informatics shares some fantastic information about perks that come automatically with your credit card.  It is a must read!

Thanks for including my link! I’ve confessed my sins, too; like my Starbucks addiction. I’m afraid to check out Invest it Wisely, I might find I need to reduce my love of coffee. 😉
