About Me

The purpose of this blog is to share ideas that will help you in your day-to-day life.   My focus is personal finance, and almost all PF topics are covered in one way or another.   Whereas you may not find in-depth statistical analysis of the performance of ETFs vs. Mutual Funds, you will find many tips to help you save money, reduce debt, make more money, and spend wisely.  I also like to get readers to consider shifting how they think about their jobs, how they spend,  how they save for retirement, and much more.  As a matter of fact, getting readers to THINK is a major focus of this website.

Another topic I write a lot about is healthy living, and many posts revolve around eating right, improving overall quality of life, and creating healthy habits.  I want to help as many people as I can save enough money to live comfortably in retirement, and also feel great along the way.

Finally, I also write posts that just discuss every day experiences that you may or may not have any interest in at all.  In essence, no topic is off limits!

Personally, I am a married mom of 3 teenagers.   I have a BA in Finance and an MBA in Materials and Logistics Management, both from Michigan State.  My entire career has been with the same IT company, and I have had many different work arrangements.  I have worked full time in an office, part time and from home, and not at all- and I fully understand and appreciate the challenges that come with each work arrangement.   Currently, I am in the ‘part-time and from home’ phase.

There are many ways you can connect with me if you like.    In the right sidebar, you can subscribe to newsletters and get email updates, friend me on Facebook, ‘like’ my Facebook page, sign up for my RSS Feed, and follow me on Twitter (edaytipsthought).    You can also email me at any time using the following link:  contact me  (kris <at>everydaytipsandthoughts.com)

Also, if there is a topic you would like to see a post written about, or if you would like to guest-post, please email me using the contact link above.

Have a great day!

Kris
